Abstract
Fluorescence was quenched following the addition of Hg2+ to a Si-CQD solution. When Si-CQDs and RhB formed the ratiometric fluorescent probe, the blue fluorescence was quenched by Hg2+ addition, while the orange fluorescence remained unchanged.
