Abstract

Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitric oxide in an oxygen-rich atmosphere with propylene as a reductant has been investigated over supported La-Co-oxide (mixed metal oxide) catalysts prepared by the modified citrate method. Loading on ZSM-5 support gave greatly enhanced activity in the reduction of NO at relatively low temperatures. This SCR activity could be ascribed to incorporation of the mixed metal oxide into ZSM-5 as an amorphous perovskite phase via preparation.
