Abstract
The CH borylation of simple alkenes catalyzed by palladium pincer complex 1 was performed in the presence of hypervalent iodine and bis(pinacolato)diboron compounds. The borylation reaction probably occurs by a PdII→PdIV oxidation–diboronate transmetalation sequence. TFA=trifluoroacetate.
