Abstract
A method for selection of a system for measurement and inspection of a man-made object on the basis of several indicators constructed using the Germeyer scalar convolution is proposed. The drawbacks of existing methods are considered. It is shown that exact values of the coefficients of significance of indicators do not have to be determined.
