Abstract
PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company with more than 26 branches in Indonesia that has been using the Windows platform to run its daily operations. Where is PT. XYZ wants to develop its system using web-based applications, where applications can run on all devices. System development is carried out using PHP based web applications. Besides wanting to develop web-base applications for its daily operational needs, PT. XYZ must also choose an open source database as a companion to the web-base application where the database must be able to be seen from factors such as storage, especially supporting big data, data security, support with web-base applications, database server capabilities, availability of updates, easy to maintain, back up features and can be developed. The most popular dan best open source database right now is PostgreSQL and MariaDB. IT can define strategy alternatives before determining database software to be used more effectively and efficiently. Based on these problems the researcher wants to choose what framework is most appropriate for PT. XYZ with AHP Method, Where the goal of researchers using the AHP method can decide which Open Source Database Management is most suitable for use. And the conclusion PT. XYZ is to use the MariaDB. the next stage of research is the selection of ERP development methods
