Abstract

The electronic device for determination of the number of K+ mesons produced in a secondary beam of the Saturne proton synchrotron is described. The selective criteria and the tests for identification of the K+ mesons are analyzed in detail. For π +/K+ = 400, at 600 Mev/c, less than 5% of the detected particles correspond to spurious event.
