Abstract

Various designs of blow-down doors for household stoves are considered. The result of the analysis of the existing blow-down doors showed that such designs do not allow to qualitatively regulate the flow of air into the furnace under different gorenje modes for different firewood stoves, which reduces the possibility of increasing efficiency and reducing CO emissions in the furnace. The design of a blow-down door with one entrance opening blocked by a curtain is proposed. A study of such a design with different-shaped inlet openings showed that a door with a triangular-shaped opening allows the most rational adjustment of the air flow into the furnace with a curtain, which improves the characteristics of the furnace.
