Abstract

In the first part of article the author presented selected definitions of creative activities and the importance of these questions and the review of the literature. The second part includes the list of branches which belong to creative activities according to British classification by Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Polish Classification of Activity (PKD). Next part of analysis includes characteristics of entities representing creative branches in the Wrocław Agglomeration by number of employees, number of entities in different kinds of activity, the date of beginning of activity, and location, i.e. spatial diversity in Wrocław. All data present situation for 2008.
