Abstract
The Jurassic deposits of the Barents Sea are very promising for hydrocarbon prospecting. This complex of deposits occurs at a depth that is accessible for drilling. Using the seismostratigraphic method, the environments and stages of sedimentation in Jurassic are found. The alimentary zones and migration routes are defined. The most promising zones for prospecting for new large hydrocarbon fields are determined.
