Abstract
In this article we study six works by Antonio Castillo Lastrucci which exemplify, through their profane themes, their majoritarian participation in official art contests and their convenient temporal sequencing , the trajectory of the first thirty years of his sculpturesque career, the ones previous to his almost exclusive dedication to processional imagery.
