Abstract

Creep rate spectroscopy has a resolution which allows the separation of segmental relaxations in a complex polymer system such as a miscible polyurethane/butyl methacrylate copolymer interpenetrating network. The heterogeneity of segmental dynamics within an anomalous glass transition was demonstrated as the discrete manifestation of a few predicted types of motions, cooperative and non-cooperative.
