Abstract

The Society of Exploration Geophysicists of Japan (SEGJ) hosted its 12th International Symposium 18–20 November 2015 at the Ito International Research Center at the University of Tokyo, Japan. The symposium, which focused on geophysical imaging and interpretation, was cosponsored by nine collaborative societies: SEG, the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG), the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS), the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Indonesian Association of Geophysicists (HAGI), the Korean Society of Earth and Exploration Geophysicists (KSEG), the Chinese Society of Petroleum Geophysicists (SPE), and the Vietnam Association of Geophysics (VAG). The symposium welcomed 105 delegates from 14 countries, including Australia, Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States.
