Abstract
“The Big Easy” was abuzz with all things geoscience when SEG descended upon the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for its International Exposition and 85th Annual Meeting 18–23 October in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dubbed SEG 2015, the Annual Meeting built upon several successful initiatives from last year's event in Denver to create an unforgettable six-day experience. SEG 2015 received strong support from the 6,488 attendees who traveled from 71 different countries despite the downturn in the industry.
