Abstract

Abstract Right atrial appendage aneurysm is a rare disease, which is usually diagnosed initially by transthoracic echocardiography and differentiated from pericardial effusion and other diseases. We described the motion pattern of the right heart wall in the case of a giant right atrial appendage aneurysm, which is different from the “pendulum-like” motion in the case of massive pericardial effusion. It merely affects the right heart wall, presenting a see-saw-like movement, while the left heart wall remains unaffected.
