Securing the data in the direct or indirect presence of untrusted people is more difficult. Sometimes data or system hackers involve in aggregating in publicly massive data set, copy it and store it in an exceedingly devices like USB drives, Disc or in Laptops. When considering about security of big data, it should be concerned about all aspects of security related to big data i.e. infrastructure security, network security, data security, data privacy, transaction logs management and so on. In this paper, we review the background and state-of the art of big data. Initially a general introduction of big data and security of big data has been presented followed by its related technologies including; Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Software Defined Networks and Machine Learning. We then focus on already existing security problems of big data and their vital solutions. For each categorization we identify the security issues, security attacks, with their prevention and detection solutions. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive overview and pinpoint the big data security issues. Finally the paper is concluded with some open issue of security problem of big data and their tentative solutions.
