Abstract
IEEE Security & Privacy met with several interesting speakers at Security & Privacy Week (SPW) 2016 in Darmstadt, Germany. This issue features Srdan Capkun, computer science professor at ETH Zurich; Jeremy Epstein, a computer scientist at SRI International; George Danezis, security and privacy engineering professor at University College London; William Enck, associate professor at North Carolina State University; Panos Papadimitratos, associate professor at KTH; and Paul Francis, director at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems. They discuss a variety of issues, including diversity, social norms, spoofing, privacy guarantees, and mobile security.
