Abstract
For the final processing of con rods, Albert Weber GmbH needs secure tightening processes, up to the yield strength of the material concerned. This allows the use of smaller bolts, reducing the mass of moving parts. An ETX nutrunner system with Power Focus 4000 controller from Atlas Copco ensures compliance with the extremely tight tolerance on longitudinal extension at the same time as detecting a large number of causes of possible errors.
