Abstract

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) have received a lot of attention recently due to their wide range of applications in military as well as civilian operations. It is a challenging work to design suitable cryptography for wireless sensor networks since the limitations of power, computation capability, and storage resources. Many schemes based on symmetric or public key cryptography have been investigated. Recently, a practical identity- based encryption technique is proposed. This paper presents an efficient identity-based encryption scheme. The new scheme is proved secure in wireless sensor network environment while reduces the requirement of resource.
