Abstract

Introduction: Insomnia is a serious illness and associated with lost duty days, higher risk of discharge from military service, degraded performance, and greater health care utilization. We examined changes over time in the incidence of insomnia and investigated associations with deployment and combat exposure in the entire population of United States (US) Army Soldiers.
