Abstract

Temperature dependence of the spontaneous magnetization and its derivatives reveal the existence of second-order spin reorientation reform (SOSRR) in the two-sublattice ferrimagnetic system. The variation of the competition between two sublattice moments and that between two sublattice anisotropies gives rise to eight types of temperature dependences of the spontaneous magnetization. An example of the phase diagram for the conditions for different types of thermal curves was delineated by means of numerical calculation. Phase diagrams related to SOSRR transitions were depicted by analyzing the exchange-anisotropy flow in the exchange-anisotropy space.
