Abstract

This paper is concerned with the singularly perturbed delay differential equations with integral boundary conditions. To solve the problem, a finite difference scheme with an appropriate piecewise Shishkin type mesh is suggested. We prove that the proposed approach is almost first order convergent. Utilizing the discrete norm, an error estimate is also calculated. Finally, a simulation examples is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and to show the superiority of the theoretical results.
