Abstract

We have carried out time-resolved measurement for second-order processes of photoconductivity in poly(3-octylthiophene) (PAT8) and poly(3-dodecylthiophene) (PAT12). The external electric field and fullerene (C 60 ) doping effects for the second-order process of photoconductivity have been demonstrated. The external electric field and C 60 doping enable to control the amount of the free charge carriers for the photoconductivity.
