Abstract

For a Hanbury Brown and Twiss system, second-order intensity-correlated imaging through the scattering medium is studied based on a new reconstruction algorithm. The analytical results, which are backed up by numerical simulation and experiments, demonstrate that the imaging quality decreases with the increase of the distance between the object and the scattering medium. Additionally, the new reconstruction algorithm is utilized to decrease the sampling number and improve the imaging efficiency.
