Abstract

A correction technique for second-order temperature variation of bandgap voltage references (BGR) is presented. It consists of adding a convex curve with a simple circuit to the standard bell curve of a first-order BGR. The temperature coefficient of the new BGR is as low as 1 ppm//spl deg/C.
