Abstract
Following the success of last year's inaugural National Exploration Geophysics Competition for College Students (NEGCCS), this year, the second NEGCCS Finals took place at the National Supercomputer Tianjin Center (NSCC) on 26–31 August. After tough competition in the preliminary rounds, 20 teams from 14 universities, consisting of two players each, entered into the finals. The teams represented Peking University, Tongji University, Jilin University, Ocean University of China, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), University of Petroleum (East China), China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Chang'an University, Northeast Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technology, Yangtze University, Southwest Petroleum University, Taiwan Central University, and Chinese Academy of Sciences.
