“Second magnon” —like excitations in a linear heisenberg ferromagnet with applied field

Abstract

Results are presented for the spectra of the spin and energy density autocorrelation functions for a ferromagnetically coupled, classical Heisenberg chain with and without an applied field. The results indicate that an applied magnetic field leads to a coupled propagating mode of the spin and energy densities.
