Abstract

In the Roentgen rays and in radiating matter medicine has found a means for diagnosis and therapy, which has become indispensable for the healing art and which is growing in importance every day. Through research and systematic elaboration of experience gained, roentgen diagnostics, no less than radiotherapy have developed into extensive scientific specialities with their own working methods. In practical medicine radiology has in fact acquired a secure position as an independent discipline with its own institutions, lead by specially trained radiologists.
