Abstract
AbstractWe monitored seasonal variations of amino acids and organic acids in the mycorrhizosphere of Tricholoma matsutake in the Yangdok region by high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis. The contents of amino acids and organic acids identified in extracts of pine root and mycorrhizal soil displayed seasonal variations. Isoleucine, leucine, phenylalanine, and malonic acid were predominant at fall coinciding with the establishing of the fruit bodies. This information might help in a successful cultivation of matsutake in the future.
