Abstract

1. 1. The changes in glycogen and trehalose concentration in honey bee worker larvae during development in different seasons of the year have been studied. 2. 2. The changes in glycogen and trehalose concentration are faster in the summer larvae (May) than in the winter larvae (September). 3. 3. The results are discussed from the aspect of the role of the neurohormones in regulation of the carbohydrate metabolism.
