Abstract

As set forth in the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Board of Directors policy Journal Editor-in-Chief (BOD Y03-04-15-38), the Board of Directors appoints the editor in chief (EIC) of Physical Therapy ( PTJ ). The EIC's term of appointment is 5 years, with a single reappointment permitted. Term limits and a codified search process ensure that PTJ will continue to meet the needs of the profession and—ultimately—the needs of patients and society. Incumbent Editor in Chief Rebecca Craik's second term will end on December 31, 2015, and the search for a new EIC has officially launched. Applications are due in September.
