Search for rare decays K 0L → μe, and ee at KEK

Abstract

We report on the present status of a search for the rare decays K 0 L → μe and ee at the KEK 12 GeV PS. The preliminary results obtained with run of about 3,000 hours are; BR (K 0 L → μμ) = (8.4±1.1) × 10 −9, BR (K 0 L → μe) < 4.2 × 10 −10 and BR (K 0 L → ee) < 5.4 × 10 −10 at 90% Cl.
