Abstract

The technique of searching for the point of quaternary eutectics is imitated by constructing a series of two-dimensional vertical cross sections (method of tie-lines) by the example of a model of eutectic-type T-x-y-z diagram without solid-phase solubility. Errors that arise when mapping cross sections of experimentally studied diagrams are analyzed.
