Abstract

AbstractSeaplane or ekranoplane landing direction optimization criterion is suggested which takes into account the rough sea conditions and provides the minimal mechanical strain at hydrodynamic braking. The key problem consists in automation of selecting the landing trajectory direction regarding the main direction of sea waves propagation. The peculiarities of marine landing at different characteristics of three-dimensional irregular model of sea waves and flying vehicle characters are investigated. Recommendations concerning the implementation of soft landing are given.
