Abstract

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is an exciting technology that enables the design and management of networks in a dynamic way. Although this technology has the concept of being new in this world of technology, it can be stated that SDN has a long history of efforts to make computer networks to the point of being programmable. For this reason, this article aims to talk about the history that has framed the SDN and look at what isthe future of it with respect to large enterprises where large data flows are handled more commonly called data centers, finally, a small discussion of the issues addressed at the beginning of this article is made.
