Abstract

This paper deals with the application of multivariate analysis to the classification of Scythian Culture burials of the Dnipro Left‐bank forest‐steppe region. Six types of burial complexes have been distinguished based on the analysis of a burial chamber, its orientation and grave goods set composition. In order to reveal probable trends, the impact of spatial, chronological and ethnic–social factors on the distribution of the analysed parameters was investigated.
