This is a report on 1255 cases of scrub typhus contracted by U. S. Army personnel between June 18 and October 21, 1944 on Owi and Biak islands, off the coast of Dutch New Guinea. All cases were cared for in a 750 bed Army evacuation hospital located on Owi island....Bibliography1.
