Abstract
The effect of radial gaps between mixer screw ridges and body on the pressure-flow characteristics of equipment and the power consumed is investigated. It is shown that the presence of radial gaps worsens the performance characteristics of the screw mixer, manifested by a reduction in output and developed pressure.
