Abstract

A further follow-up study of the 57 patients with tibial defects filled with cement and screws during total knee arthroplasty, which was presented in The Journal of Arthroplasty in 1986, continues to show no signs of failure of the cement, radiolucency at the bone-cement interface, or loosening of the prosthesis.
