Abstract

Wind-tunnel tests were made to evaluate the effectiveness of 119 promising insecticides as contact sprays against a susceptible strain of house flies, Musca domestica L., and a strain resistant to insecticide. Forty of the compounds were more effective against both strains, based on the LC50 levels, than the malathion or ronnel standards.
