Scope of solar energy application to refrigeration and air conditioning in developing countries

Abstract

Solar energy Can be effectively utilized for refrigeration and air conditioning applications like cold storage of perishable agricultural products particularly in the developing countries. This paper high-lights the systems of refrigeration and air conditioning used by the investigators so far and proposes some of the designs which Can be developed in the developing countries without much difficulty.
