Abstract

While working at Cambridge, Mrs. R. H. Richens found that plants of crow garlic, Allium vineale, examined in June and July., were often attacked by a species of Botrytis. Cultures of this fungus, made on Dox's agar in July 1946, have produced both Botrytis conidiophores and apothecia.
