Abstract
A diverse range of benign and malignant primary neoplasms are described in the pancreas. More commonly encountered pancreatic neoplasms display ductal, acinar and neuroendocrine differentiation. Other rarer tumours including solid pseudopapillary neoplasm are also well described in the literature. Recently a very rare primary pancreatic tumour, with a distinctive histopathological appearance that does not conform to previously defined epithelial and mesenchymal entities, has been reported in the literature.
