Abstract
Scleral indentation is a procedure which enhances detection and allows dynamic evaluation of peripheral retinal lesions. It can be employed by clinicians familiar with binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy. The technique, indications and contra-indications for scleral indentation are discussed.
