Abstract

More than one third of the world's population currently faces water shortages, according to a report released 21 August as part of a broad assessment of 50 years of global water management practices.The report, “Water for Food, Water for Life: Insights from the Comprehensive Assessment of Water Management in Agriculture,” highlights the findings of The Comprehensive Assessment of Water Management in Agriculture, which includes contributions from more than 700 scientists and practitioners.
