Abstract
The scientific bases are developed for calculating and designing reversible axial fans with optimal aerodynamic parameters. It is expounded how it is possible to estimate strength, dynamical stability and serviceability of main units of fans. The series of axial fans intended for operation in mines and subways is presented.
