Abstract
Wittgenstein once said that in psychology there are experimental methods and conceptual confusion. This still seems largely true. As evidence for the claim about conceptual confusion it suffices to take a look at almost any psychological work on cognitive psychology (perhaps excluding some of the most recent).1 It is hoped that this book will bring at least some clarification into the conceptual framework of cognitive and motivation psychology.
