Abstract

At various stages of grain processing, grain waste, husks, crushed grain, chaff, flour, etc. are formed, which account for up to 19% of all food losses and waste in the world. They are a source of possible pollution of both industrial premises and the environment. Most grain processing wastes are secondary raw materials with high nutritional and biological value. Currently, processing industry enterprises are introducing elements of low-waste and waste-free technologies that allow the complete extraction of valuable components of grain processing waste, thereby significantly reducing the damage caused to the environment as a result of their emissions. The most promising and environmentally friendly technologies for the Russian Federation are technologies for deep processing of grain, and, in particular, pea grain.
