Abstract
The article considers methodological aspects of rational allocation of natural resources and the formation of suburban areas of Almaty, while the boundaries of the suburban zone, as well as the zone of special town-planning regulation and the zone of influence of the city of Almaty are defined. Functional zones are singled out on the basis of integrated urban planning analysis and assessment of the territory, the perspective planning structure, the trends in the social and economic development of the suburban zone, the general environmental and environmental characteristics of the environment and the main directions of its protection by design solutions of the general plan of the suburban zone of Almaty. In the suburban zone of the city of Almaty, according to the plan, there are communal facilities, logistics centers, facilities and sources of engineering support, transport, horticultural and dacha arrays, short-term and long-term rest areas for the population, and agricultural production zones.
