The article presents the results of the conducted research concerning the role and importance of pedagogical training of the officers of the modern Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
It is pointed out that there is an insufficient volume of studying the discipline of pedagogy in military universities of Russia; the essence and content of the concept "pedagogical potential of cadets of military higher educational institutions" is considered; reveals the role and possibilities of tactical training in the development and strengthening of their military and pedagogical potential

Указывается на недостаточный объем изучения дисциплины педагогики в военных вузах России; рассматривается сущность и содержание понятия «педагогический потенциал курсантов военных вузов»; раскрывается роль и возможности тактической подготовки в развитии и укреплении их военного и педагогического потенциала.
