Abstract

The importance and problem of measuring the velocity and angle of the wind direction and air signals that determine the movement relative to the ambient air on board a single-rotor helicopter in the conditions of aerodynamic perturbations of the vortex column of main rotor are analyzed. The proposed original approach to the measurement of wind parameters and air signals on board a single-rotor helicopter due to the use, for the purpose of measuring, the information about aerodynamic field of vortex column of main rotor is revealed. The mathematical description of the used informative signals and their allocation is carried out. The functional scheme and algorithms for processing informative signals and determining the parameters of wind and air signals in the channels of the system at the characteristic operating modes of a single-rotor helicopter are revealed. The data of the instrumental errors of the experimental samples of the system and providing noise immunity when combined with an aeromechanical measuring and computing system with a Luenberger observer are presented.
